If you’ve stumbled across this post, you’ve likely seen us pour our energy into building custom pieces that make houses feel like homes on Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. But when the sawdust settles, we love discovering products, tools and home goods that inspire us in everyday life.
This post is a peek into some of our current favorite finds, beyond the wood shop. From the appliances that keep our household running smoothly to the décor that inspires our builds and the little extras we enjoy when we’ve clocked out.
Tried and true, these are the appliances we use just about every single day in our home. For us, it’s about efficiency, durability, and style.
“Are all of our appliances necessary? Probably not. But we believe in treating ourselves to the things we enjoy. If that means an espresso machine, so be it."

“Matt and I have a similar eye for design. We love a natural palette, but aren’t afraid of going with darker colors. You’ll see a lot of blacks, browns, grays and nudes in our home. We love mixing different woods and natural textures with metal finishes.”

When we're clocked out, it's not just about the honey-do list. It's about having fun. From kayaking to pool time and hiking and traveling, here are some of our family's favorite finds.
“We live near Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee. It’s fun to go out and kayak, fish or just see the water when we are done building. But, sometimes it's just about a quick trip to anywhere.”
Our pets want to be shop animals, but they are better off being cute at home. That's because things like drills and loud trucks scare them. But, since they show up in our social content and rule our lives, here are some of their favorite items, including a few that have inspired custom builds.
“Mason, our dog, absolutely loves the Kong Knot Bears, which are commonly known as “baby” in our house. Our cat, Amos, thoroughly enjoys his S-shaped curl scratcher.”
