What are floating shelves?

Floating shelves are mounted to a wall with no visible brackets or supports. The hardware is typically hidden inside the shelf or anchored within the wall, giving the appearance that the shelf is "floating" on the surface.

Floating shelves have found their way into kitchens, living rooms, offices, bathrooms and beyond — and from our experience, it doesn’t look like they are going anywhere anytime soon.

Floating shelves are a great solution to create a lighter, more open feel. They often can replace or connect cabinets while still providing a storage solution. They are a way to bring an element of design to walls that might otherwise be left blank.

We will build as many as you want: a single shelf, multiple stacked or even four hundred of them.

2. Pick a Shelf Length

Our standard miter-fold floating shelves are 3" high, 13" deep and between 2-8 feet in length. We can do any height x depth x length.

Note: If you need a more custom size, enter 0 here, and tell us the HxDxL in the Additional Information section.

3. Pick a Material.

Do you want the final product to be stained or painted? If painted, choose Ultralight MDF. If stained, pick your desired wood species.

4. Pick a Finish

You can do it yourself, or we can do it for you! Let's pick a paint, clear coat and finish together.

Note: We provide an unfinished option so that you can either DIY your finish yourself or tell us about your vision in the additional information section.

5. Pick a Need-by Date

If you're just browsing, you can skip this one. If you have a timeframe in mind, let us know in the next section. It helps us plan!
